Our Colonial Tables

Colonial Table

With our Colonial tables we utilize the same time tested methods as the eighteenth century craftsmen, such as pegged mortise and tenon joints (an expansion joint that allows for the dynamics of the woods used). Our dining tables display an appreciation of form and attention to design detail rarely seen in reproduction furniture. To further ensure the synergy with our other pieces we utilize the same finishing techniques as with our Windsor chairs. We approach our business with a love for the products we make. Though labor intensive, for us nothing could match the feeling of hand-planed boards or the hand-rubbed finish on the tops of our tables. Like the cherished antiques we want to reproduce our tables boast character and are built to last for generations.
