Nantucket Windsor Arm Chair
O riginally made in Nantucket
in the 1780's, this magnificent and very comfortable Windsor arm chair with
bold maple turnings on the legs and stiles has great presence. Gracefully
carved mahogany knuckles and serpentine curved arms are sculpted to fit
your hands. The wide, uplifted crest and braced back with refined rake all
add character to this wonderful chair. As with all of our chairs, the spindles
and crest are riven to ensure strength and longevity. The shapely oval seat
is the largest of all the American Windsor chairs. This arm chair is perfect
at the end of a table or as a lounge chair.
